What's the difference between "Pocket Patterns" and "Calendar Pocket Pattern Series"?
The wording "Pocket Patterns" refers only to the packaging size of these particular patterns.
These patterns are baby quilt size or smaller and most of them are table toppers or wall hangings.
They work well as a project of the month and are easy to kit up. All of them are traditionally pieced;
some include machine appliqué and/or embroidery stitches.
The "Calendar Pocket Pattern Series" is different in that it employs traditional piecing, raw edge piecing, and raw edge appliqué.
Also there is a new technique for raw edge binding. Traditional methods could be used for the appliqué and binding in these patterns,
but there is some raw edge piecing that cannot be done traditionally. These are easy and fun patterns. When finished, these table toppers have a well loved worn look.

Calendar Pocket Pattern Series
Calendar Pocket Patterns include a pattern for each month
of the year plus a Bonus Quilt Pattern in the December pattern.
These patterns feature soft edge appliqué and soft edge binding techniques.
They are easy and after a gentle washing the tabletoppers typically have a warm, worn look.
The Bonus Quilt Pattern incorporates the extra appliqué blocks from each month.
Just add sashings and borders and you have a 50" x 64" calendar quilt.
All 12 tabletoppers incorporate piecing and soft edge appliqué blocks.
Some have simple embroidery stitches and/or embellishments.
